Dear Community Partner; January 1, 2010 It gives me great pleasure to announce the Junior League of Monroe, Inc. will award another Community Endowment Fund Grant this year. We will be awarding $10,000 to a qualifying non-profit in our community. I invite your organization to submit an application for this grant. To qualify you must meet the eligibility requirements listed below: - Any non-profit entity may apply for a grant
- Proceeds must be used within Ouachita Parish
- Projects must further the Junior League’s purpose of building a better community
- Proceeds cannot benefit any one individual
- Funds cannot be used for religious instruction or for political activities
Grant applications are included in this packet and must be completed and returned to the Junior League House, 2811 Cameron St., no later than noon on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Applications received after the deadline and incomplete applications will not be considered. Recipient will be notified by May 1, 2009. The grant will be awarded at our annual Homecoming Meeting on May 6, 2009. The Community Endowment Fund was started in an effort to provide continuing financial support to other non-profits in our community. The Junior League of Monroe looks forward to many years of supporting qualifying charities in our community.
