The Junior League of Monroe is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Since 1930, the Junior League of Monroe has been making a difference in the Ouachita Parish community by donating grant dollars and volunteer hours. We make a difference by matching our resources to the needs of the community and providing comprehensive training opportunities to ensure our volunteers make a difference. Our current focus area is Women and Children.
See how the JLM is making Ouachita Parish a better community every day.
From executing large-scale events like the Cinderella Project, the W.E.C.A.R.E. project, school Care Closets, and annual health fair to partnering with other local non-profits and schools, the Junior League of Monroe is there to provide needed resources and volunteers.
